My partner rather shyly suggested a game of Nookii last weekend. We've been together for about a year, and with busy lifestyles sex has tended towards comfortably routine. Would Nookii add a bit of spiciness to our sex life?

Nookii consists of 6 packs of cards, 3 "male" packs and 3 "female" packs. Out of the 3 packs for each gender, the packs are graded in explicit activites, from teasing, to foreplay, to the full act, and each card has an instruction written on it for your partner to do to you. You also receive a scarf (to be used in various activities), a stopwatch, and 2 dice to determine how long each activity lasts for. For the more adventurous reader, I should point out that with a bit of imagination you can have more than 2 Nookii players :)


My partner and I found Nookii immensely fun, and useful. It's great to be able to just set aside some time to feel good about each other, and Nookii makes an excellent catalyst about how to start, without those awkward pauses about what to do next. It gave us some new ideas about what to try and what feels good. Being a little shy, I found Nookii a great tool to be able to suggest to my partner what I liked and what felt good "well touch me there because this card says so".

All in all we had a most enjoyable three rounds of the game (we kinda got a bit distracted) but my boy has been suggesting all week we should pull the box out again ;)
